xenon bulb removal

Car  1.6 16v
My driver side bulb has gone pink, so I have got myself a new bulb and went to fit it today

I then ran into a problem

I was able to get to the unit and twist it anti-clockwise, by about 45 degrees. I then thought that it would just though it would fall out, it didnt. So my question is lies with getting it out, as does it need a bit of a tug to get it out, or should it be fairly easy to remove?

I will be taking the bumper off as soon as I can, but I have heard of people doing it without needing to and wanted to know if I could get it sorted now

cheers

I guess you didn't get James out of bed then? lol.
After twisting the pack thing about 45 degree, it may require a little wiggle for it to come free. it shouldn't take any real force to remove.
