wtfu can get cheapos off ebay which jsut make your lights look bluey white or you can get good ones like osram or phillips which are worth the extra money. the range rovers and expensive cars use HID Xenons which flash hundreds of times a second and you can actually get these for clios off ebay but you have to plug in an adapter box aswell.

I thought they just used a gas that emitted light when you passed a current through it?
I know they do have gas in the bulbs but its not b****cks actually they do flash "the light is generated by a spark which jumps across a gap hundred of times a second"wtf

That's exactly right. Xenon is a noble gas, each of the noble gases emit a different colour when you pass a current through it (hence the need for a ballast) for example neon gas tends to glow blue. Xenon emits a white light.
