What is the point of spending money on making the foglights HID's???

I must use mine all of about twice in a year if that. They don't really help in fog anyway.

i found when i went to halfords, looked through the book for the fog light bulb for my 172, got home took the fog bulb out and found that it was completely different to the ones i brought, found the bulb later in halfords, it wasnt marked up for anything in particular and it was just normal, you couldnt get any other colours

I spent a whole £12.50 and I don't go Kroozin with my Fogs a'blazin BUT I like the look of them when I do need them (Which is more then Twice a year)

They're not HID though. Just normal bulbs. Which isn't as bad as I presumed you had the real thing and had spent out for a kit.

Fog lights are useless, they don't help in fog.
