Xenon light bulbs in non xenon headlight

You can get these 11 pound sets of lights on ebay for the clio that apparently make it xenon, anyone tried these? Seems a cheaper option to two clusters for 250 pounds.

all they are are normal bulbs filled with xenon gas instead of the standard halogen ones...perfectly legal...they just have a blueish coatign over the bulb as well for extra colour...can buy em in motorworld to....

depends, i've changed mine for some in the past and they look good. you can usually tell the difference with the brightness too. but the best ones are the xenn gas filled bulbs that are clear. they give off more light, the blue ones are ok but not as good.
best ones i tried were halfrauds ones, expensive but a lot brighter

They look like normal headlights, only slightly whiter.

There is no way to get the proper xenon look unless you install HID lights.

halfords brilliance i think. they are in a gold box and say 50% brighter im sure. i totally rated them on my clio

i think they were like £15 a bulb, but were on offer. they are just bulbs. worth getting tho imho

thanks guys, loads of my friends work in halfords, they say the kits with blue side lights and white lights are good but illegal if only using the sidelight

I got a set from ebay, big improvement over std bulbs, lights are white instead of yellow now.

ive heard you can get silver indicator bulbs that flash orange, is this true? anyone used them?

double check that bulb fitment is identical to your bulbs before ordering just to be safe.
Do you mean silver headlight indicator bulbs? I as with many others on here have them, look good and work as normal ones would.

Yep all of my bulbs were fully e-marked so uk legal,make sure you buy the correct bulbs, as the seller is also doing 100watt bulbs which are illegal. My camera ain't so good for shots with the lights on , doa pic request loads off people should have pics.
