Xenon Lights

Just wondering if i can get Xenon lights for my clio 16v dymanique??
Can i just simply swap the stand bulbs I have installed now for some standard xenon one's???

for the proper 1's you will need the whole headlight unit of a 172/182 and its just plug and play but not legal as you dont have auto leveling or washer jets,

or you could just get a HID kit

Is a HID kit legal (wont fail MOT or any thing will it?)

Oh and how much am i looking at for a HID Kit??

yeah they arnt legal i think but plenty have them think they are just over £100,

but 172/182 xenons are going to set you back £300+

HID kit is a bad idea. If you want xenons, get the proper clusters. They won't be "legal" but at least they'll be safe.

Oh may as well leave it then, coz it won't pass the MOT if its not legal. Just have to wait uptil i can get insured on a 172 or 182!!!

ive got the xenons on mine and its passed MOT depends how nice the test guy is,

or you could just swap them back for the test

If you put hid's in yours you will be dazzling everyone else on the road because you dont have a projector headlamp. Whereas i do in my ph1 so i can safely fit an aftermarket kit.

Proper xenon kits aren't just bulbs, they come with ballast packs which are hidden in the wings.

Best bet is a decent xenon effect bulb with some led sidelights, will look loads better and won't break the bank.

Halfords trade got some blue tint bulbs (show car lights) and some whitey blue side lights looks good, much brighter and brill price too.
