Xenon to standard lights, help.

I currently have xenons but am working in germany so require LHD lights, don't want to fork out for xenons as its not for a very long period. Is the wiring the same for all types of headlights? So if I got standard LHD lights etc would it be plug and play?

I'm sure I seen thread recently about a bit u twist in xenon lamp to change angle- cheaper than new lamp

Yeah I'm pretty sure if you remove the xenon bulb there is a lever you pull over and it changes the beam pattern.
