'specialist renault breakers' sell them for £175+VAT per unit, so like £350 all in for both units including vat... but they did me a special deal :)

  is dirty.
Definately one of the nicest non sports on here. Back looks bare without that exhaust now though!..Going to put another one on there?..

Let's hope you don't crash with those on. Can't see the insurance liking the fact you've made your car illegal to drive.

whys that?

Will it not fail the MOT cos it hasnt the headlamp washers??

Yeh basically it SHOULD fail the MOT because of the lack of headlamp washers and auto-leveling, although a few people have had MOTs with them in no problems.

Whether or not the insurance would be that anal to try and avoid paying out I don't think so, as long as their declared I can't see it being a problem. Hell if you fit washers then whos to know there not factory fit ;).

Apart from the blatant high pitched noise of the ballasts that is bmh ;)

Don't think it would be too hard to add washers would it? Would they really be too bothered as seen as they're the proper renault ones?

washers would be easy, although i dont think they would suit the dynamique bumper...

also.. 172's with xenons dont have them, they just have blanking plates?!?

Gawd !!!!! Just look at the scatter on those !!!!

That a bad thing? Theres plenty of fog involved there so that won't help i'd imagine, and there the standard Renault clusters too!

Easy enough to add washers, jets are about £8 each from renault. Just drill the bumper and run piping so they work with the screenwash.

Nope the Cups/Trophy have blanking plates because they have standard halogen clusters in them, the FF has washers. Its a legal requirement to have them along with auto-leveling.

russ's 172 with xenons dosent have washers lol, i saw it last night.... so does that mean his are illegal?

edit, maybe it does :S but either way if there are blanking plates with xenons its illegal... hmmm

also, what is the washer going to make a difference too, if there is a fly stuck on there its not going to come off with a little squirt of water surely?!?

Nope it'll make no difference, its just a legal requirement that cars fitted with xenons must have washers and auto-leveling.

It used to be a only cars from the factory but VOSA have tightened up on it a lot, be ready to refit the halogens for your MOT. Thats what I had to do.
