Xeon bulbs

i think one of my bulbs has went in my car i am gonna get it checked out 2morow, ifs it gone where would be the best place to get one an how much would one be as i have only had the car for 3weeks(i am in glasgow)

they are about £140 from Renault but as it's a 182 (i presume) then surely it'll be under dealer warranty?

Its under warently unless you've had a crash and they've failed like that.

Are you sure the bulbs gone? Most lilkly its the computers as they get wet and fail.

oh is it under warranty i never thought that it would be, well one is out i tried to have a look but its a bit dark to see an the space is very tight to try an see it the passenger one that out

yeh for the Xenons... they come with a 5yr warranty iirc. They are a pricey piece of kit!!

Yep there not true zeons true zeons need computers etc to make them work those on ebay just ahev a bit of zeosn gass in its the whole bulb setup which needs to be different.

Yeah these aren't your run-of-the-mill white-ish looking H4 bulbs. These are high intensity gas discharge bulbs.

one of my xenon lights stop working on my 172 it was the starter pack on the back of the lights my car had no warranty left and they still fixed it for free as the service manager said xenon lights are guranteed for 5 years or there abouts as the bulbs should ideally last the life of the car i think i must have caught the service manager in a good mood the price for the starter pack fitted would have been about £200.00.

my bulb went as well about 3 weeks after i got mine i took it to renault they said they have to fix them and i cant do it it is under the warranty but everytime they put a new bulb in mine it kept blowing the fuse they couldnt find out why it was doing that so in the end they put a whole new light in under warranty but they had my car 2 days works fine now but they did tell me them bulbs are £150 each .

only the xeon ones are under warrenty the ones that have the blue tint all other bulbs you gotta pay for yourself

i took the car up today an aronald clark are saying the bulb is fine but i have changed the side lights in an one of the guys in aronald clark said this could be the cause of the light not working ? could this be right ?

^^ Uusal arnold clark shite, can see how it would effect it at all. Unless you didnt put the cover on.

The bulbs was not working so i took it to them, They are still looking for the fault they want to keep the car till 2morow an try an find whats wrong with it they think it might be a short some where an it blowing a fuse !
