XPS 1530 Vs. Xbox 360

Which one is the best for gaming graphically (frames per second, textures, ect...).

I am getting the XPS 1530 with 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GT, 4 GB RAM, 128GB SSD and the Core 2 Duo T9300 2.50GHz,800,6M on the 23rd and was wondering if it would be worth keeping the 360? Maybe just keep the controller for games?

EDIT: Also, the laptop has HDMI out so I can play games on my TV just like I do with xbox anyway.

i'd say the xbox will still be better, very good spec for a laptop though and it will play the majority of games.

My laptop is the same spec as yours and I have just sold my 360 as I spend all my time playing WoW on the laptop.

To be honest though it wouldn't compete with the 360 for graphics on games like COD4, Orange Box, GTA or Bioshock. Not a chance in hell mate. The 8600M GT seems about as powerful as the old ATI 9700 Pro I had in a desktop PC donkeys years ago and is well outclassed by mid range desktop cards now and console. Its alright for a laptop though and plays WoW nicely.

I honestly don't agree that the laptop would play most games. You would need the graphics turned down a fair bit.

Didnt say it would play them well, just that it would play them. Which it will, alot better than the majority of other laptops available aswell.
