i love the carbon bonnet on yellow mate, very individual and looks awesome with your wheels.

yellow is just one of those colours that suits it!

colouring the badges is a nice touch too.

Ah right, yeah I suppose it'll be a difficult yellow to try and match.

A mate of mine has carbon / kevlar against pink bodywork.... that, um, works.

Do it for two reasons...

1) It looks good

2) Let that take the flak from stonechips etc, put the original in storage and in a few years/decades you will have an absolute minter if you put it back to standard

I would be tempted to Carbon it, meanwhile you can save up funds to get your bonnet flated right back to bare metal and repainted and stored safely, that way if you really do get bored of the carbon one you will have a minty fresh yellow one to go back on and should easily sell the Carbon one.

I'm not sure. Sometimes i'm pro carbon, other times i think it's just too attention seeking.

What about getting it painted but leaving too exposed stripes 'Gordini' style? Then put black stripes over the rest of the car?

Definatly go carbon, Looks great against that colour. However would keep the badges silver, but i would put smoked side repeaters on there, as the clear just look abit otu of place otherwise. If you buy it and dont like it, just get it sprayed. Then you have a light weight, stronger bonnet, and as said above you can then put the other one back on, stone chip free when you come to sell it.

The more i look at it the worse it looks amie. I wasn't sure over msn yesterday. Now i've seen it with black badges thereis just too much black. It detracts from the amazing colour liquid yellow is IMHO.

imo, go the whole hog & have the carbon fibre badge, bonnet, b pilar & side panels

With the original bonnet, about a thousand times. With the Taxi bonnet, not a lot.
