Yoko S-Drive AS01

I have to put new rubber on my 172 cup but after driving round and then calling loads of dealers there are no Contie’s or Exalto’s any where and can’t really wait much longer so i will be taking a chance on Yokohama’s S-Drive AS01’s.
Has any one had/ has these and are they any good?

I was very impressed with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s on my cup, better than the Conti (IMO) but not tried the Yokos or Exaltos!

Ive got Yokohama Parada on mine and love them

The eagle's GSD3 are good tyres as well but not as hard wearing!

The paradas get a 4.5/5 on most tests ive seen

I've had F1's very stable in the wet but they do torque steer more than Conties
Will post my thoughts on the yoko AS01's when fitted.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread, the new yoko s drives look like good value. I'll be needing four new tyres to put on the turinis once their refurbed and i'm thinking of giving them a try.

The tyre issue always seems to be such a Pandora's Box and a forum thread always gets the opinions flying!
