youngest valver driver

whos the youngest 1.8 16v driver on here and what insurance company you wiv?

am turning 19 in 2months and hoping to lump a vavler engine in to my 1.4 rt.

just after a idea of costs etc.

Id be cheaper to sell your RT and buy a Valver.

An cheaper/more powerful engine transplant would be the GTT lump!

1.8 16v in an RT is cheaper than a GTT in an RT.

it would be cheaper to drop in a gtt lump ?
Meaning cheaper to actually put it in there ?

In the long run wouldnt it be cheaper to go for the 16v? im assuming the 16v is a more reliable and stronger motor that the gtt ?

Elephant gave me the 2nd best quote on a few high spec engined cars.

My best quote is through Diamond - SORRY LADS!!!!

Damn - yet another use for breasts... ;)

Could be an idea to buy a really crap car in a really low insurance group (I think a 2cv is group 1!) and insure that under your name - that way youll be building your no claims bonus up on that car more cheaply than if you were doing it on a valver. Plus, if it goes walkabout, you wont need to claim as itd be worth so little! :)

Elephant Quoted me £4600 for my 1.4 8v at 18. ill never bother with them again. Complete waste of space. Best quote i found was liverpool victoria, £1680 Fully Comp :s
For some reason TPFT was more expensive so i went with fully comp.

Hopeing to get a Valver next year.
