Isn't a 13B the RX8 engine though, so surely it was a new engine?!

Maybe they were testing? I get paid to blow up motors. Last week I destroyed two and half grands worth of motor.

no there all 13b's from that model rx7 to the later one!and the 13b is in the rx8 to!
obviously just with different technological advances as time as has gone on! so the engine is kinda the same basis
