Ive now gone full circle. When I joined I had a 172 as a daily.
I've had evo's, scooby's, M3, a van, a brand new audi, a brand new Clio 200, a Williams, an Eco diesel, just about everything...
But now, 10 years after joining, I'm using a 172 as a daily again.

Joined in 2004 having just px'd my VTS for a new RB 182 cup. I still have it today with a whopping 22k miles on the clock. Have had a few other cars as well but kept this as its a minter. The only thing stopping me getting the new FRS is that this would have to go. Can't do it lol!

22k in 11 years? Do you actually enjoy it when you drive it or are you just worried about any damage that could happen? Sorry if that comes across as a bit wide but its a serious question. Its also a worry for me as I want a full respray to make mint but don't want to stop enjoying driving the car as it should be.

I do enjoy it when I drive it but hate parking it anywhere as don't want it damaged. Before I bought it I had a brand new VTS and someone put a parking crease in the back quarter and it always caught my eye, so I've always been stupidly careful with this one. I never used to care where I parked cars. I left this one in the space in my road a few months ago for 24 hours as was getting a shed delivered and needed to move it out of the way. Came to shift it next day and it had a ding in the door, and I live on a quiet culdisac! Was absolutely furious and got the dent guy out straight away to remove it. Doesn't help that the clios are so flimsy.
Because I've kept it mint for so long I'd be gutted if it got damaged. Had a new Fiesta ST last year and drove that and parked it everywhere but won't the clio. Daft really.

When I joined in 2011 I had just got my 182, I've now got a Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTI (FK3) and a Ford Puma 1.7 track car

Joined 2006 with clio 172 cup, then a megane 225 inferno cup, i then had clio 182 titanium.

Bought a black meg 225 and modded it quite a lot! Still have it and decided i wanted another project so i bought a clio arctic blue again.

I had a 2002 1.2 16v with the optional CD player. That's how basic the spec was. It was essentially pauper spec in silver, I nearly got the yellow metallic colour they did until I saw one in the metal and was like URGH! I love yellow cars but that was a god awful colour. However, I LOVED that little Clio at the time. If I was doing more miles I would probably look at picking up a 182 now for a daily. But pointless with my current mileage. I only commute like 30 miles a week.

Nearly bought a 182 Cup after though in liquid yellow. An instead ended up in a Citroen C4. A yellow VTS180 infact. As I wanted a bigger car, had to carry wheelchairs around etc and the Clio wasn't practical enough.

An now I have the Monaro. Which I am considering making yellow. They did them in yellow in Aus but only Red, black and silver in the UK.

My first car when I joined the forum was the Clio appl green like colour 1.4 Dynamique. My first Clio and it was pretty cool! Until some wanker in a van went into the back of me and wrote it off

In July I got my first 182. This little beauty

I had it for 4 short days before this happened
Gutted, proper f**king Gutted.

I now have a BG 182, which I only have crappy photos of.. I haven't had it long and haven't given it ant TLC just yet :wink:

Back in 2005, I had this just before signing up on here and getting a 172cup.

Looking back now, it's grotesque.. In 2002/3 I felt like the dogs b****cks lol!!

Did you sell this to a boy from Aberdeen who's brother had an equally grotesque Saxo with the Halfords store attached also. I can't comment, I used to love those wheels on it.
