does the YS decat for 172 Cup come with new bolts and gasket etc.?????
really thinking about getting one - is the whole issue with the emmisions light coming on a big problem (some ppl say it does sum say it doesnt..??)

whether its a sports cat or a decat it may or may not come on ...... i have fred's no. if you require it ....

hmmmm...so there is no way of making sure it stays off? thats wierd. does it not actually affect the car driving with it on?? i will still prob get one (is it really 5-6bhp gain tho?!)

It's not a problem if the light comes on, I think I'm right in saying that with a 172 you are less likely to have a problem.

My emission light came on 8 months after fitting my de-cat, was easy enough to reset with a £30 scan tool off ebay. Hasn't come on since.

will that be able to reset air bag light faults??

yeah will it mate?

it'll just flash all fault lights off the system. so if its an underlying fault the light will keep coming back on, but if the problem has been rectified and it isnt a self-testing system then once you've knocked it off your done.
i doubt it will be able to knock off the light from something like if you had removed your steering wheel airbag for instance.

AFAIK OBD2 port is universal.
