Well after seeing those pictures then i think it could work! Perhaps as they are the leather ones compared to clothe ones? Id just get black backs tbh, but thats just me ha.

Yeah would have to be leather other cloth but id prefer leather & alcantara than full leather so it doesn't crack & sag.

Same seats as Colin's with black backs would look awesome, yellow would be a bit much.

Id never make it just a track car but i would like to do one in it to see how it performs, the 197 was lacking abit of power coming out of the corners, next one ill be doing will be in the 182 to see what thats like.

Ridiculously comfy, like if you had to sit in a seat for the rest of your life you would chose them comfy. Did alot of driving in those seats and never found them anything but a pleasure to be in. Not hand any experience with trendlines so couldn't comment. I would have another set but im not willing to pay full price for them considering the bargain price of the first set i had.

Ive got my old restrictor that i had machined out cant remember what size to ill have to measure it, but Paul said it should make around 280bhp he also said at the time that the engine would be fine & didn't recommend fitting a Megane head gasket. You could give my restrictor ago if you want mate save you getting yours machined out incase you want it back to the current power.

Mine was at 0.5 bar or 7 psi making 260bhp & around 220lbs ft on the standard clutch & it was perfectly fine no slipping.

For reference I've took the restrictor out of mine altogether now & its making 0.9 bar or 13 psi

So if you wanted to get more power from your car how would you do it? Novice to this supercharging stuff you see!

Youve just sold them to me Dan, I dont drive the car daily or do lots of long journeys but I'd still like comfy seats, I love the look of the treadlines but they just arnt comfy

Well my rev limit is set at 7200 now at 320bhp & with the spec I've gone for on the engine Paul said it will rev to 8500 obviously making more power & Paul will tweak the map/timing to suit. I think the most Paul's had out of one is 341bhp with the rev limit set to 7900. So when I get the standalone typhoon ecu on it will be interesting to see what mine makes.

It's been stated on a ktec thread lately that one of theirs reportedly only made 270bhp after making a claimed 372 @ the wheels meaning more than 400 @ the flywheel (thats another story) which Paul said isn't possible on the F4R on stuff like golf R32's yeah the charger will make its claimed peak power off 400bhp.

I changed my alternator over the summer due to not charging, It was only a spare I had in the garage, but it decided to play up too last month, but due to the bad weather I never bothered to change it. I had one more spare in the garage to try & the night before the Malton breakfast meet last Sunday I changed it, but only to find the bearings we're noisy so I decided to make 1 good alternator out of the ones i had, i stripped them down took off the parts I needed & fitted a new set of brushes & fitted it to the car & i now have an alternator that charges again

About two weeks ago Sam(Bonxy) & his girlfriend Rebecca took some pictures of the car for me, I only have a few that's Sams put on his Flickr account at the minute & they have been edited so I'm just waiting for him to upload the unedited ones, but I might as well put these ones on for now

Haha it scares me too lol, I dout I'd have it set that high tbh, if Paul got 341bhp out of Johns at 7900rpm that would do me, I won't be greedy lol.

Crank pulley / Sc pulley x max rpm = charger speed

C30-94 max rpm is 10 500 rpm iirc

7900 rpm would be about 11 300 rpm (85mm)
90mm pulley would be around 10 700 rpm

but tbh fk taking a clio to 7900 rpm lol

I havnt havnt had chance to get on here much with moving house & Christmas had lots on, the cars just been tucked away in the garage.

I did get chance to change the FK coilovers for the Ktec ones & they are 10 times better than the FK's drives so much better so glad I bought them now.
They will do just fine until a set of 2nd hand KW's pop up.

After I had the respray done I went to York around the end of October for the day, came home put it back in the garage then a couple of weeks later pulled it out the garage & noticed a dent in the boot lid It defiantly wasn't there before the trip to York I was gutted. Luckily it hadn't damaged the paint, so I made a call to my dad's mate who is a dent man by trade & has his own business, he came round & got it out for me happy days

I also managed to get a yellow beanie hat off the innocent smoothies as the ph1 knob gets cold lol.

I'd love somebody is is good with a camera to take some nice pictures of it.

Took a few photos the other day, they aren't the best I just took them on the drive after pulling the sunflower out the garage & washing the 197. I would really love somebody to get some decent photos of it since the respray. Wish Niall97 lived in the NE not

Ive be opened a flickr account as I've seen it doesn't take the quality out of the picture like photobucket I'm currently using, but when I put the URL in the upload box on here it just shows a little blue box instead of the picture any ideas? I'll keep using PB for now.

I'm going to see Paul (who painted the car) on wednesday to see if he can paint the wheels silver this week for me, so hopefully i can get rid of the black as im really disliking them at the minute.
