They are a piece of p*** to do. You only need to jack up the passenger side of the car to do it. It will take literally 10 minutes to do. If you not confident with the spanners though then let some one else give it a go. If you watch them do it you will see just how easy it is.

If i was you i would take it to RS Tuning in Leeds. You get the stamp in the book and from somebody who has a good reputation amoungst the Renault sport community. Don't think it will be much.

Check the connector that goes to the charcoal filter in the drivers side front wing. Mine had come lose and caused the engine light to come on.

Just look for the usual things. the biggest thing is the cambelt. if its 5 years old or approaching 36k then both the cambelt and aux belt needs to be replaced and it is expensive (£400 - £500 indy / £800+ at a dealership). it should pull like a train from 4000 upwards and if it wanders about...

Would it be possible to make a carbon 172 MK1/Espace V6 airbox? This would be something i would be very interested in as would perhaps the clio cup racers as they use the same thing. This could be an alternative to the ITG Maxogen kit
