Bought off the bay for £40 what was supposed to be a 172 cup alternator, part no is 7700105333 which I can only see listed as a kangoo 1.9D alternator??? Will this work to delete the A/C off a ph1 172?

Managed to get a cup alternator for the track shed for £40 so want to bin off the A/C compressor. How much of a job is this? DIY-able or is it best to take it to a garage? ;)

Its running the an Espace box (I think, two air inlets) and we have moved the battery so its nearly straight but at the min its got no feed. Two main ideas, we have no fogs so we could get some duct to there? Or remove the passenger side light to get a load into the bay that way?
