I found it easier on the 182 than any other car I've done. Lots of space through the grommit.
I'm guessing you mean you can't see where it comes out if you go from the passenger footwell forwards towards the engine bay? Well, you can unclip the wadding (can't think of the proper name) at the...
Even my Misses is now Clio Spotting!
She saw a black Clio 182 'because it had two exhausts' beside Sainsbury's on Corporation Road. Cliosport sticker in the back :-)
I'm 26 with 2 years no claims and I pay well into a four figure sum for my insurance. My previous insurance company don't even insure 182s - stating 'they are a term 3 car' which we don't insure due to the risk!
Absolute first thing to do is get insurance prices before getting your hopes up.
^^ Lol
I posted on the other thread about not making it Saturday. I had every intention of going, but ended up going away the night before. Next time :)
I've had a look (and probably missed this) everywhere and haven't seen and obvious answer.
When on full lock, for example three point turning it feels like the front wheels are jumping because they are being dragged sidewards slightly. It only seems to be on full lock right.
Is this a...
Yup, that was me heading down Littlefield Lane.
The modified blue one parks outside AudioIsland a few days a week, right near my work.
Didn't get a chance to make it down yesterday, ended up going away Friday night.
Hmmm not me. Black gold 182 pretty much standard mate. Haven't seen any other black ones in GY/Clee though. Spotted a couple of nice RB ones, one looks pretty modified.
Woops only just saw this.
Really want to be there, kinda wishing I hadn't planned a night out on Friday.
I'll aim to be there :)
Oh and on the previous thread, me scraping speedbumps? Whereabouts?
I've been reading the forums for about 6 weeks now (since I bought my clio, strangely...)
Anyway, I've finally got round to uploading a pic and saying hello.
I've not had the best of luck so far, it's been back to the garage 5 times so far and a work mate(!) badly kerbed my offside front...
I can sympathise...
Don't lend your car to people you work with... only noticed Saturday morning
And the flash means you can't see the damage on the top two spokes which are the worst :(
Cleethorpes here
Bought my 182 about 7 weeks ago and I find myself keeping my eye out for others when I'm driving now. Its surprising how many of the things there are around!
In the first 4 weeks the car went back to the dealership 5 times!! And I still love it :)
I've just done my Fli install but with the loaded 12" sub so can't really offer any (useful) advice on the sub.
Although, wiring it in was probably the easiest install I've done. Lots of space in the passenger footwell gromit for the power cable, even cable clips running to the fusebox to run...
yeah I gathered that much, I just don't think they are that good at 'sensing rain' pretty much what it says on the tin!!
I'd much rather have an intermittent that I could set to how heavy it's raining, rather than the way it seems to leave it ages, then go frantic to clear the screen.
I didn't think of that, could just be locking it too quickly.
Paid the extra for a three year warranty thankfully. They've now re-welded the exhaust, ordered a seatbelt pre-tensioner which was causing the air bag light, and tightened something causing a knock when near/on full lock.
Was...
You're right, need to be a full member to access that guide. (didn't even know there was a membership! haha)
I'll mention plugs, leads etc to the dealer if I carry on having a problem.
How do you turn the auto wipers off? I'd love that!
I've had my 182 a week now and loving it. When I got it I found myself behind a Celica T Sport (seafront cruiser) he saw my zenons and clearly thought I was one of 'them' and tried to race me.
Having hardly spent any time in the car (I'd only picked it up that afternoon) I sat on his bumper...
Hello everyone
I've had a reasonable look through the forum and like the amount of input!
I've always fancied a 182 after a friend of my dad's had one about 6 years ago.
Long story short, I've finally got one :)
Black 182ff with 47k on the clock. The bad news, at 25 with only one years...
