Little Update

Just finished off spraying these.

The picture is awful as it doesnt show there true colours. They are all painted to the Renault D38. The graphics are from Ady182.

Ill get some better pictures tomorrow! :)

Thanks, Sam!

Well, im still undecided.

K-tec and Dan@519 have good deals.

If i can find the cams on there own, i can get them fitted for a lot cheaper (around £400 with a cambelt change!) so ill see if any come up. If not, off it goes to a pro. :D

Erm, Kinda.

Id advise doing them all in one go though.

I sprayed my gear / steering wheel insert, then the dash ones a few days later and never get the paint to look right! :(

So i re-did them all again! :)

Decals where off Ady182 if you where curious.

Nice to see another inferno joining the forum.

You'll have to post in the Inferno Owners Thread. You can find plenty of ideas for your little Baked Bean.

Ill get some pictures of mine tonight as I have all the strips in them now.

Sam.

Edit: Inferno owners thread is here - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?p=8870450

Sounds like a good idea, can imagine it would finish the inside off nicely in Inferno. Removing the dash isnt to hard but the surround clips arent very strong so i had to buy another when i did mine :dapprove:

Quick Update

I fancied pushing out the rear wheels a bit by getting some spacers. I was looking around when i seen some in the for sale section off a member on here.

I got 4 x 5MM spacers and 16 x longer bolts for a great price.

Took me no time at all to get them on. They fitted well as well which i was a bit concerned about before hand.

I like the way the back ones are further out, but i think the front ones could do with a bit more so im thinking of selling them on and getting some 10MM ones.

Hopefully will have some nice new wind deflectors next week.

I love them Jay.

For some reason I think it makes the front end feel lighter as the steering wheel feels way sharper but I don't know if that's just me.

What size spacers did you put on yours?

15MM? I just think the 182 wheels just need a tad more so I'm going to buy some 10MM ones.

I want some decent hub centric ones though so will have to find the best ones.

Yeah 15mm FK ones mate, bought them from Venom motorsport which was the cheapest i could find them. I think they only come in hubcentric from 15mm upwards though but not sure about other makes. When i was looking into them the H&R ones seemed highly recommended too if that helps at all.

Ahh. I didn't spot you.

Lots of miles this week for the bean. Ha

Hi mate, just read through your whole progress thread, annoying how half of your photos have gone though lol :(

Really really like the orange seatbelts!

Aye that was nothing to do with me. FlickR had a problem at christmas and had to set all photos inbetween a certain date to private. I really need to unlock them all!

Ill do it tonight!

90k PAH! I thought you did a lot of miles ;)

71,000 in 26 months!

Not bad going! Ha

I've got some spare money now and don't know whether to invest it in the bean and get some cams that I've been talking about for ages!

Decisions :(

Jesus! You do! Why did you buy such a low mileage one if you were going to put that many miles on it?

Cams. 100%.

After i crashed my first one, it was the only minter i could find!

Its been worth it though, ive had some brilliant fun in it!
