i think thats a load of s**t being no.2 where is the plate number and also why has he not put the chassi no on so ppl can check it up with renault

Renault have no records of what chassis number matches which car number...
my first trophy was one of the "miss numbered" ones (it actually had one of the swiss number plates 49/50 on), i hounded JT at RSUK for months and spoke to him a few times, eventually he admitted they (RSUK) could not provide me with the correct car number as there were no records regarding chassis to car numbers.
the chassis numbers are not necessarily sequential either... as in trophy number 200 may not have the next chassis number after trophy 199, because they were built in batches at the RS factory and the bodyshells were only delivered "as and when" from the main factory.
i had all this in a letter from JT at RSUK but i gave it to the next owner.
