Just reading back through this i'm 99% a moonstone coloured escort cosworth, would be Auralis (sp) blue. I'm a ford geek.

This thread has the Words Vee and V6 in it so it would be naturally a bad decision based on other threads about that Sh*t heap of junk Renault decided to build and idiots bought when they could of opted for a Subaru or Ford!

If you read what I said, I didnt actually **** the V6 off at all.

He had the fastest, craziest clio going and hes sold it and bought a Mk1 Vee.

Granted its newer but its still ugly.

Mk2 > TT > Mk1

i actually prefer the exterior look of the mk1 vee. i think it looks so much better than the mk2. but again thats my personal choice.

I agree with you seb, the mk 1 front is just more male looking IMO, and if the 197 had the MK 1 v6 front I would buy a 197 for shopping days.

Vee's are not my personal taste, but this thread is about Norm being happy with his purchase, not weather Vee's are supercars or glorified 182's. Quite frankly, who gives a flying fcuk? ;)

No no no Gem.....you don't understand how this place works!

To truly own a Renault, you must hate everything about it and then sl*g off anything else Renault.

197 owners hate 1*2's (even though they probably had one to start with and now can't accept that they may get the occasional spanking by one....coughSebcough;) )
V6 owners own the best looking Renault and are "fit but my god don't they know it" types..therefore are prone to extreme cases of defensiveness when criticised by...

The VAG/FORD/OTHER owners who are here to bait all and sundry......but that is their priviledge, being wise enough to move away from goddamn sh*tty chav wagon Renaults.
See how i kept inline with my own philosophy there? ;)

Phew...think i've covered everything there.

Ive spent 5 years, and a dreadful amount of cash, building, tuning and restoring cars, Ive had anough, Ive got other things to focus on these days

not that i have to explain my actions on a forum!!!
