GDI Engine Build For YozzaSport

we tested on an engine dyno and a rolling road, so figures are accurate to within about .2 % on the dyno we used. It was set-up about 8 weeks ago by cosworth to do the dyno set up of some of their engines, so are very confident in the output figures.

The difference between the dyno and the rolling road calculated flywheel figure was within 2% so I am quite happy with it.

at the end of the day it doesnt matter if you test on a rolling road or a dyno or whatever, someone will always question the figures, and will argue the maths of it.

BBPT dont do the Morego package by the way - they have a monster of a 270+ BHP Turbo. BBR do the Morego package.

BBPT have a formula to work out the power that they produce, Morego (BBR) will be done in a set way etc. etc. GDI / MASS also have a formula that they use on all of thier cars. We know that the car had 150 odd BHP at the wheels before the standard engine went pop and that it had about 180 at the wheels afterwards. We are working on derestricting the airflow into the bodies at the moment, so it may be a matter of more air around the trumpets will increase the figure on the rollers - we will have to see.

Cheers Roy hope that cleared some confusion about the names & packages available.
