Picking up from Where Ash-J left off.. Can see his thread here: http://www.cliosport.net/threads/ashers-bg-182.773952/page-3
Picked the car up off Ash in December Last year and have a few minor things to do and wanted to keep a project file going.
First minor thing was to add a aluminium rest plate.

After:

Next up was to change the xenons from the grey 182 inserts, to the black 172 inserts. I bought some second hand ones that requried a referb. I used the Autoglym kit that attaches to a drill. Impressed with the results, not 100% perfect, but still very good!

In the process of fitting:

Forgot to get a finished picture of the lights, but look much better.

Next up was a Whiteline ARB. Purchased brand new, again forgot to take a picture fitted / fitted.

Next on the list was some brembo 4pot front brakes.
Managed to source some second hand callipers on ebay, they came with 197 discs, which were no use to me.

Excuse the slippers! haha!
Managed to source some second hand brakets and extended braided lines to fit the 300mm discs, then bought some Brembo HC 300mm discs and ferodo DS2500.

Now awaiting for the calipers to come back from referb, decided to go black, with white brembo decal.

Next up on the list is wheel referb as im not too keen on the current colour, thinking titanium silver, have bought 5mm, 10mm and 15mm spacers to get the right stance, which will be put on with the brakes, also purchased some longer TPI Polarised bolts to go with the spacers.
New front splitter needed, as is cracked in the middle.

Overal, very happy with the car right now.

Super pleased you've got a thread up of this car! Amazing amount of work went into it, an inspiration for my own BG :grinning: Need to get my arse into gear and update my project thread, have done a pile of things since last update of it!

I recently fitted 10mm rear axle spacers and 15mm up front, made a great job of the stance  Got turinis now myself and they are anthracite (poor DIY finish though I reckon) so will be considering refurbing them some time soon, debating between anthracite again or silver!

The front wheels have started to discolour slightly, they have gone slighty green and really stand out against the centre caps, which is really bugging me. I've decided to go titanium silver, but will be looking for a second set soon for some r888

Any pictures of the discolouration? Paint must have reacted or something, did you check with Ashy where they were refurbished?

They were done at The Wheel Specialist - Fareham, that's where they are going back for the refurb. I will try grab a photo before they go, weirdly, it's only the front wheels that have discoloured.

Pictures of wheel discolouring, taken with a phone so hard to see, but around the centre cap is the most obvious.

So, dropped the wheels off at the wheel specalist in Fareham, went for titanium silver. Sealed with C5 and fitted with 15mm front spacers and 10mm rears, with longer, TPI polarised wheel bolts. Gave the car a quick wash today, in the pi**ing rain, but it was need and wanted to grab some pictures.

Still needing to send the brembo callipers off for a refurb and debating changing the bullets back to original silver.
Personally, really happy with the clean look.
Comments and Critisism welcome as always! :)

Wheels look great in silver, they did a good job on those. I agree the bullets should be standard silver. Not keen on the trophy sill stickers myself.
Also for the brakes as it looks you are doing it properly, get some of this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mintex-Ce...253856?hash=item43e6e014a0:g:R1gAAOSwa-dWlsj2 to use to avoid screeching sounds and also you should get new pin kit:
genuine: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-S...979700?hash=item25b5912ab4:g:XLoAAOSwL7VWp-W3
non genuine but just as good:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-RS-197-200-SPORT-05-12-FRONT-BRAKE-PAD-PIN-KIT-BREMBO-BPF1848D-/261628308766?fits=Model:Clio|Cars+Type:197&hash=item3cea432d1e:g:H0QAAOSw5ZBWF6gE

Also take the pins out of the calipers before you have them refurbed as you dont want to damage the finish getting them off after.

Will make a nice difference having Brembos!
