new to detailing. what to buy

i have never really been into detailing at all, more of a drive thru car wash kind of person but recently taken an interest. my rb is covered in flies,tar and all sorts of dead stuff. i normally use g101 on my bikes but not sure about on the car. what should i buy to get me started and it what order do i use it. snow foam looks pretty cool but no idea what it does. please help

Start with your wash technique, diluted g101 as pre wash. This will remove everything including waxes. Wax safe shampoo, wash mitt and two bucket method.

Then decon stage, tar removers, iron removers, then clay. Quick wash or rinse before anything else

Then then look into polishes, glazes, pre wax cleansers etc.etc then seal with a was or sealant
