Pedal Position Sensor

Hello.

This morning i started up the Clio and it just reved at 3k and the throttle was not responding.
I plugged in the code reader and it stated the following - Throttle / Pedal Position Sensor / Switch A Circuit.
Please could i have some advice on how to fix this problem.

Most likely an open circuit on Track 1 - check the connectors are good, clean and tight

The fault has now come back. Anymore ideas?

I was having this issue on mine for weeks! In the end I bought a Phase 1 Throttle body, pedal and cable. Never got round to the actual fault in the end as it would change between track 1 and track 2. Might be something to think about..
