Spotted your feature in Redline the other night lol, thought "that plate/exhaust looks familiar..." then it clicked! I live up the road with the yellow HGT, always have a sneaky peek at yours when I go past.

Great stuff Ben..looks great! My m8 is the one with the Silver Classic Scooby....awesome motor and only on low boost in th emag so should be 500bhp+ after mapping for higher boost!

Wehn removing door cards, and fitting CF replacments, do the door handles fit back into place with no problems? Im reading people fitting the cup racer bracket things, and looking at some that dont have them.

Also, anyone moved the window controls, and if so where to and how?

iirc Burp used a big hammer and bashed the metel around where the door handle attaches. This ment the door handle would sit flush on the thinner CF door cards.

Might be worth dropping him a little pm.

Small update -

My Sabelt gloves arrived for use on track days - Mainly because of the steering wheel

New discs and pads Decided to go for Ferodo ds2500, discs are standard 300mm HiSpec discs.

4 new tyres, Prada spec 2's, £150 delivered from eBay for 4 Love 15"

Also paid for my Trackday at Oulton park on the 28th of April.

Next things are -

Carbon door cards
Air con removed
Flocked dash
Oil temp and pressure gauge
Helmet for trackdays

Spec-2's FTW.

Just be carefull when you first put them on as they i found they are quite greasy for the first 50-75 miles of so. I had 4th gear wheel spin when i went over a tiny dribble of water on the road :S

Did the CL pads muller your discs of did they just need replacing becuase they have just worn over time?

Yeah i have the same pads on my 182 and they are emmence but the dust on a silver car is quite bad. I have to wash my car with wheel cleaner lol

They have ruined my discs, although ive had them on for nearly 18months, so they have done well really.

Very tempted by the group buy for CF door cards
