Renault 172 Oil Change

  Renault Clio 172
Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I've just purchased an Renault Clio 172, and looking to change the oil & filter, I've just had a look under the bonnet and it looks a bit tight round the location of the oil filter.

Do I have to remove anything? or should I be able to squeeze it out?

Also due to the bad weather i've not had a change to look under the car, do I need to remove any panels to gain access to the sump plug? and is it easy to get to?

Cheers

Michael

Welcome to the forum!

It can be abit tight to get to the filter at first, remove the fuel rail guard, two 10mm nuts iirc. There may or may not be a plastic cover under the car however there will be a plastic screw allowing access to the sump plug anyway
