Steering Angle Sensor

Hi basically i have fitted a new engine to my clio 182 due to the fact that my bottom end had exploded!
During the engine change i had to disconnect the steering column from the rack now its all back together i get a fault code saying steering angle sensor this has turned the esp light, serv, abs an airbag light on. how do i get rid of this?

Needs calibrating on a CLIP - This is a dealer only or CLIP equiped specialist job i'm afraid.

You will need to remove steering wheel and set up steering angle sensor correctly and then re-configure with clip system and it sounds like you have broken the airbag rotary switch as well, if this is the case a new one will be required.

The rotary coupler isn't necessarily broken but the wheel will have to come off before i can CLIP it but thats included in the hours labour.

Hi mick to be honest i did hear somthing clicking before i connected the rack to the column, do you sell these aswell?

I dont keep them in stock i'm afraid as there's a few too many variants and tbh i don't oftern need to replace them as they can be fixed

Ahhh thats good then, when are you free? it's my friends car so ill have to let him know when we can come down. i think we are about 70 miles away :/
