Went out for a drive yesterday and took a few photos at a nice spot. Nothing special here just wanted to show a few shots of it!

They really are great little motors, I had one for 18 months and it is the only car that I really regret selling out of everything I have owned.

do you have any plans for it?

Thanks, yeah I've got full exhaust system to fit and going to keep it pretty standard!

They need an exhaust system, I had a full Milltek incl Manifold and decat and black tip. Added character to the car and was far from intrusive even on long journeys.

They are very different cars until the Fiesta is modified. They were never built to compete with one another.

What I will say is my ST was a better all round car than my Trophy. It also felt decades newer. The Trophy was by far quicker and more a drivers cars but the ST seemed to suit my needs and wants more. The mods on mine were spot on. Eibachs and full Milltek system, filter, remap.

16s are one thing that the ST feel better with, whole car flows better on 16s.

How do you think these compare to a RS Clio 1*2?

As Gally said in standard from they're pretty different (I've only experienced mine in standard form, awaiting exhaust system to be fitted etc). Standard vs standard the 1*2 is much more of a drivers car, a fair bit faster, a lot more responsive/has more urgency, and in general is a more "focused" car. Its not surprising when the ST has ~20-25 BHP less, and ~50+Kg more weight depending on spec of 1*2 (I'm probably being generous!)

Though the ST does feel very nice to drive, for what it is it has decent low down torque (more than you'd expect), and I'm led to believe this changes a fair bit with the exhaust. In summary - 1*2 is funner and faster, but ST is perhaps a nicer all-round package with room for modifications.

Will I benefit much from a remap with Manifold/sports cat/cat back? And what bhp / lb ft should I expect?

If you do the filter as well as map i think around 165-170 bhp not sure on lb/ft.

Yeah that's what I've heard, obviously the Mountune MP165 is 165PS, but I think mountune are generous and under-estimate their packages to be on the safe side. Just really unsure on whether spending £300-£400 on a map is justified! gally any insight into this?

Map would be the last thing i'd do. Filter, full system etc first.

Well.. I got rid of my clio.. Bought a Rocco.. Had it a month and a half.. Now I've chopped that in and just put a deposit on one of these! I really hope it's worth it :)

How are you finding yours as a daily? I plan to keep mine standard :) I will pop some pics up when I get her next week.

Really enjoying the car. Love the look of mine and I enjoy driving it. As a daily it's great, only today I was thinking how comfortable it was, plenty of room inside etc, especially compared to a 1*2. Great car!

Yeah they are good looking cars! I'm looking forward to picking her up on Saturday! I've payed slightly above average for her. but she is absolutely mint!

How easy are these to tune? I've read that even an air filter and exhaust make a noticeable difference to these?
Are mods a similar price to a 1*2?

Mods are a similar price to 1*2 but provide more gains, a full exhaust system (manifold back) and induction kit can gain up to 15bhp over standard, which in N/A terms is a good amount. What colour is yours mate?

Yeah they are good gains considering how simple they are to do and so cheap!

It's black and full leather. I will pop some pics up :)
