Suzuka Grey Audi TTRS Light Correction Detail & CarPro Reload

Hey chaps! A lovely man Gordon I got to know a few years back with my TT asked me to have a look over his new TTRS.

Bit of a back story, he had a Misano Red MK1 V6 TT, then a Black Mk2 V6 TT (The V6 does not suit the MK2!), then a 2.0 Silver TTS with all the TTRS body parts, Xenons etc... then a few months later noticed this at a dealer and couldn't resist!

This is the second TTRS i've driven and the last one was S-Tronic, this one is manual and although it's a very mechanical feeling box, it really suits the car once moving. I think if I had the choice of 2, i'd still edge towards the DSG. The first one I drove was heavily modified, this one felt much nicer to drive, even on the 20" wheels.

Anyway on with the detail, some images are messed up due to my camera transfering them to the comp weirdly. I'll try my best!
Light correction and major cleansing/decontaminating to restore colour, this should never be over looked by anyone with a light coloured car, even just getting it inside before polishing I could see a difference.

Trialing my home-made "citrus" pre-wash, as you'll see from the second pictures the difference the pre-wash has made on half the door, snowfoam has it's place but pre-wash isking as always.

Light correction/cleanse with Polish Angel Esclate and a touch of 106FA on a Yellow 3M paired with the trusty Millwakee. The 106FA was used just to add a bit of bite and it finishes so well on the yellow 3M pad.

Finished with a wipedown of Werkstat Prime and 3 layers of CarPro Reload. Gtechniq G5 x3 layers on the front screen and prime on the rest of the glass (stillamazing on glass). The usual bits elswhere!

The tailpipes have a carbon issue, guessing due to the awesome 5 pot upfront, before being stripped and powder coated again in black they were unfixable via polishing, previous owner was female and the tailpipes had never even been cleaned so they're now coated in original C1.

Thanks so much guys for taking the time to look in, really enjoying detailing recently, managed to bring the fun and enjoyment back so to speak, just wish someone made a "wax" as good as a new age sealant. Oh and maybe something game changing again to the industry!

Yeah, I'm not totally sold on it but the more I looked at it the more it grew on me, I'm just more an oem guy.

The rear plater should be legal and small but some t**t screwed previous plates on!

Yeah, not sure if you can see it in the images but theyve done a nice job of cutting round the jet cover mate.

I find the people dealing with the next level stuff like Lambos to be another breed.. To put it politely!

No they are an option wheel iirc. 20" Audi ones. Maybe off an S6 or something silly. The ride is nice and supple with the mag ride off.
