Isn't the idea of thread lock to make the thread/stud un removable?

We use loctite at work (aerospace tooling) I can't remember what the grade is but it's a b*****d to get off!

But it's doable with fire/heat.

We use loctite at our work but it too strong, fly wheels bolts need thread lock but nothing too strong that you can't remove then if need be

Loctite 243 will be fine.

New flywheel bolts come with the locktite already on iirc
Don't re-use flywheel bolts buy new for about £20

Not something you would want failing at 7000 rpm

Good call @marinemackay2003 I have a shopping list for RPD and new flywheel bolts are on it, just never knew they come with thread lock. Thanks for the heads up
