Pops n bangs

So got a rs tuner I want pops and bangs but been advised against it by my Mec saying it will spin a valve. Has anyone had this prob or is there any things I should know

Afaik it just f***s the exhaust up if you have cats in place.

It's hilarious for ten minutes then it gets boring

Decat and rs tuner 98ron map and you'll get the pops and bangs without f**king up your engine. Mine sounds delicious with that.

Oh, the volvo pops and bangs like a motherfucker. Flames and s**t.

I'm on about the clio, decatted with the RSTuner map and I've never had a single pop from it.

Thats very strange then, might be my silencer layout as I only have a very small one on my powerflow system. I can rest my toe on the accelerator ever so slightly and it will pop and burble.

From what I read it is not the pops and bangs that ruin the valves but the sustained revving of the engine. I recall that many Clio racers use stronger valves for this very reason.
