Just brought a clio 16v starts all fine but when I put foot down on accelerater the revs don’t go up anyone know what the problem could be many thanks

Either way, the throttle cable has broken or the wiring has degraded.

Which on reflection, amounts to the same thing.

Or the electronic pedal or throttle body is knackered, plus no mention of pedal feel too, if the cable had snapped pretty sure most people would feel the difference.
