New to me used/refurbished phone suggestions - £300

I have a very long in the tooth Moto G(30) which is knackered. My work phone is a Samsung S21 which was lovely new in 2021 but a bit small.

Instead of a new budget phone like the G75 (£200) I'm tempted towards something like a Samsung S23+ used which is a little more money but seems like a lot more phone.

What other phones are worth looking at around that spec/age/pricepoint? What "last phone" did all the phone enthusiasts love before upgrading?

Needs:
Android
Decent cameras
Minimal bloat/skinning
OS support
Robust
Decent screen (quality for video, brightness for outdoors - but don't use it for games)
"Plus" form factor - ~160x75

Wants:
IP68
Dual Sim/card slot

Cheers!

I guess I mean no obvious hardware faults, decent glass etc.

Would you take the S22 Ultra over the S23 plus even given the curved glass and issues it brings? I worry it'll be a pain with covers and so on?

What's the story with the Nothing Phone? I've seen bits and bobs and they look cool, be curious what they're like first hand!

I've got a 23 Ultra and it's huge, not sure I'd want a phone that big again.

Curved screen is a bit of a pain but I've got a Mous case and Spigen Neoflex screen protector, they work really well together.

Have a look at OnePlus.

I've had most of the range.. got a Nord 3 at the mo, couple years old and nowhere near needs replacing.

Can't imagine they're even that daft brand new now !?

They are 300 for a plus 9 though, that was a while ago!

I reckon a 3a series phone gets you bang up to date. Good brand and constantly updating software to improve the expereince. The 3 (flagship) is due for release in a few days from memory.

Great company trying to do good things!

Probably under £300 for the pro on ebay possibly.

I have an s22 ultra, no issues with curved screen. I have a clayco full cover on and ive dropped it loads of times and no damage. Batterys getting a bit knacked on mine now 2 years in but its been pretty decent. Camera is great.

Id be looking for largest capacity battery for your money.
