@chris blue my wife was having a good chinwag with your wife on the pit wall.

Good to see you out there yesterday enjoying yourself - she told us about the incident you had a few years back.

I may have told her a couple of times when red flagged that I think it’s the red 197….

Also saw your car today on the car park for plas newydd national trust. We also visited šŸ‘

Driving standard was very courteous and the red flags were handled quickly.

The marshall at the top of the hill at rocket did like his blue flag šŸ˜‚
That same marshal black flagged me as somehow managed to spot (through the windscreen) that @Matt Cup was wearing a ā€œskirtā€ šŸ˜‚ The irony being that I hadn’t even noticed 🤣 Eyes of an eagle that one!

Well what a weekend, thanks to the whole admin team, supporters and everyone that made a fabulous event run so seamlessly.

It wasn’t without its self imposed stresses! Holidaying in the arse end of Cornwall, returning on the Friday meant a 13 hour drive. Buying a car unseen the week before CSF…but I’m pleased to say that with only a tiny annoyance, the car was great! Thanks to @Scrooge for giving me a lift to ECP! Thanks to everyone who took time out to make Toby feel so welcome and treat him like a grown up. Special thanks to @SharkyUK for taking him out in the GT4. He is absolutely Porsche mad and has started on his mother as soon as we walked through the door. Telling her how much of a sound investment one would be and how brilliant a car it is!

Big love to everyone, sorry I only chatted with so few and could only get so many passenger laps in. Genuinely I am amazed so many of you wanted to spend time in the mini šŸ˜‚

Admins and mods (the ones that turned up) put on a great event as usual

It was good to put even more faces to names this year. Apologies if I didn't speak to people or seemed fucked off, that's because I was🤣🤣

Looking forward to next year already 🫔

Did it not go fully ok then?

We had a brief chat in the morning and then when I saw you doing some test drives in the paddock you gave me a thumbs up.

Was talking to @dann2707 and @Liamm in the bar and saw you sat there looking a bit naffed off 🫤

He loved a flag, I got blue flagged after I’d just overtaken the car he was blue flagging me over šŸ˜‚ also got black flagged because @Jonnio was in shorts

Just got home, unpacked, time to catch up and say thank you to everyone involved and especially anyone I didn't personally thank before I left last night, awesome efforts from everyone, these events continue to get slicker šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Spent so much time driving and chatting that I only took 3 photos the entire day, and the only one that's worthy of posting is this one...

Mad that I've been in this place almost from the beginning!

As for my teeny little faux pas, I have no words, and only one smiley needed

Finally home... What a weekend!

The Megane was faultless all day, considering it was only purchased recently I had no idea how she'd perform and well.. for a road car, fook me šŸ˜‚ she went!
Bigger intercooler needed as the inlet temps were high, coilovers on order already - so next year she'll be back with a vengeance.

For once, I managed to get a few passenger rides in with @Flob and @Krarl
Credit where credit is due, brilliant drivers. Rob had me in stitches the entire time, that VX is something else.
Where as Kyle just got faster and faster, good effort mate!

A huge thank you as ever to all of the staff for putting on a blinder of a weekend šŸ™ none of your hard work goes unnoticed, legends!

A special mention is due for @Mr_wababobobob who was out in my megane for parts of the day and as well as coaching a few of you in your cars. Thank you to all the members who made him feel like he was part of the club.

Until next year āœŒļøšŸ’›šŸ–¤

Just got back to the hotel in Bangor after a long walk along the beach.

I think this years event was the best one yet. The paddock was crazy busy all day and we absolutely smashed the amount raised for the charity.

It’s a shame that nobody stayed around for the band but I also appreciate that you all like to do your own thing in the evening,

We had some feedback from last year staying that there wasn’t anything happening in the evening so we booked a band this year. (albeit they were cheap šŸ˜‚).

Next year we will conclude the festivities after the raffle and reconvene in the bar once all the kit is packed away.

Special thanks to @Cub. @Daniel & @Cads for helping set up on Friday and @Mbeau @Iain C who both stuck around until nearly midnight last night helping to pack everything away. Cheers Mark for helping me finish the never ending keg of lager! šŸ˜‚

It was an absolute pleasure meeting both of you.

So many thank you’s to make.

@Krarl and @ForceIndia for coming good on their bets and donating £50 to the charity.

@Myfanwyi and Paul Brandrick for doing the hot laps.

Sir Dave and Will for the raffle prizes.

Anyone else who I’ve forgotten that either donated a raffle prize or helped out setting up or packing away.

Uber special thanks to @Brian @Nik @Owen and Rob who work their b****cks off for the best part of a year to get this event off the ground.

And thanks to everyone for coming. Couldn’t happen without you all.
Paul Brandrick from Diamond Performance? If I knew he was doing hot laps I’d have made it there! Haha.

That's mine! šŸ™‹ā€ā™‚ļø

Flogged it around track all day and it didn't give me any issues at all, despite being put together by me!

I've got to say I really enjoyed it this year, everyone was super friendly and happy to chat. I can't wait to come back next year!

Looks like a great weekend.

I think Snetterton would make a great hosting spot next year šŸ‘€

Walked in the door at 02:15 😓

3 charge stops, 3 failed coffee stops (starbs was closed each time! šŸ™ˆ) finally got one from a machine though šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

Don’t think I’ll be bringing the 5 next time though.. 🤣

Saw one of your lot @CliosandCoffeeCal on the side of the M56 I think it was… did they make it back safely?

Mega thanks to the Cliosport Admin and helpers without you this epic social event can’t happen šŸ™ŒšŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ˜˜

Very sorry to those who I said hello to but didn’t get to say goodbye to!

Another brilliant weekend!
Was good to see people from last year, meet new people AND see ones I haven't seen in over 10 years!
Big thanks to everyone involved in the running/organising of it all!
I sort of went between every group of people there so I've already lost track of half the usernames on here sorry šŸ˜‚
I've got a few pictures but I didn't really take many was too occupied watching/chatting.
I pulled up at the first carpark when you turn left out of Anglesey and ended up here, literally 5 mins walk from it

It was the first time I'd attended a CSF but it definitely won't be the last, next year I'll book some track time aswel!
I didn't speak to many people, mainly due to not knowing anyone but everyone I did was more than happy to talk to a randomer!
Thanks to everyone who helped organise the day and a special thanks for the cleaning kit prize. It's much appreciated

My missus suggested something for next time which I thought seemed like a good idea…

A bit more organising needed I know, but we could all have printed lanyards with our username and avatar on them šŸ˜‚ Might need A4 size for some people though šŸ‘€

I had a t-shirt made with my avatar for last year, but this year I found more people are willing to talk to me if they don't know who I am beforehand.

This is why I love this club….

Friday night @Sunglasses_Ron tells me he’s got a family room at the Premier inn. So me and Alf can get a good kip and a shower before Saturday. I mean the man’s a prick, but he’s a lush prick. Genuinely a brother from another mother.

Saturday Rolls round - Both myself and my son left our phones on charge on the charger table at about 12pm. Totally forgot about them and went back at 5pm and both still there, exactly the same position.
Wouldn’t happen anywhere else!

My son was booked on track for the A.M. he’s only been driving 10 months and as much as I wanted to go with him on his maiden voyage, he asked if he could go on his own as I am quite hard on him and he didn’t want the added stress of me. Absolutely fair and I understand. I’d have been the same at 18.
So I turned to @JP83 - a man I have probably met 10 times in my life but I ā€˜know’ him. He’s a proper placid level headed man who wouldn’t scream if Chopper decided to oversteer in to the sea - and said ā€œcan you go with him mate?ā€ And he just said yes and did it for me and my boy.

Then the car s**t itself after 4 laps and our day was over. Power steering fluid delete.
Chop was very very sad as you can imagine, as was I, as I was looking forward to passengering him later on. 😢
Then enter stage left; Will. (Don’t know your current username sorry!) ā€œDan if your car’s fucked Alfie can have a go in mineā€
wtf?! 😳
Within 30 minutes I was waving my son out of the garages in someone else’s car. #teamcs

I had a proper heart to heart with @NorthloopCup . Was lovely getting stuff off my chest - another good human being.

Then it was time to cobble together a plan to get home. I decided to just drive it home with no PAS. A deadly crew of men all stood around my car looking g at eachother; yeah it will be fine. It’s not heavy once you’re going so just go motorway. Bosh!
Enter stage right; @MLB . Who very rightly pointed out that if the PAS pump seizes and the aux belt jumps, I’d end up in a world of pain. Thank you, you lovely tall Dutchman.

This is where it gets special.
During a berating of @OEM Battery Nonce we decided that we’d limp it to @Grandpa Joe ’s house about 40 minutes away where we would collect the Suzuki Swift that I’m buying from him. After he bought it from @Jonnio . šŸ˜‚
Leave the RB there and come home in the Swift. Rent a trailer and go back up tomorrow to get it.
Then, enter stage Up (?) @Flob who comes down from the sky in a beam of light. ā€œI’ve got a trailer. I’ll get it home. But can we please discuss this in the morning I’m tiredā€ so we did and he did. He put the RB on his trailer and headed to my house. I took Chopper in Rob’s VX220 (with no front number plate) to Tom’s house where I paid Ā£25 for 8 hours of insurance for him to follow me home in the swift.
We then gave it some tie pie (legally, he’s only been driving 10 months!) all the way home, ensuring we were catching Rob back up because I didn’t want him waiting for hours outside mine when he’s already doing me a HUGE favour. Alfie on the motorway was amazing. How many 18 year olds would drive a totally new to them car for 5 hours on the motorway??
Anyway, we got back. Rob unloaded the RB, I loaded the VX, we both strapped it down, we hugged, he went home to an angry wife.

It was soooo good to speak to people I’ve never met in person before and some that I haven’t seen for years but chatting away like we’re neighbours. šŸ˜‚

I. LOVE. THIS. CLUB. ā¤ļø
