Genuine Renault Timing Tool help?

Hi all. I dont what the difference between Genuine and Aftermarket timing tools other than people saying use Genuine and the timing may slip after a while when using aftermarket tools.

Im having my crank pulley replaced woth the Keyed Megane 225 one, will this help to remove the issues further down the line from the non-genuine timing tools?

Where i'm having my engine Timed up, they have some aftermarket ones and i'm starting to worry a bit, especially with the overal cost of my rebuild, i dont want anything to go wrong.

So please, if anyone has any people or places to ask to beg/borrow/rent a set so my timing can be done on the 17th i'd be stoked.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I’ve built 3 or 4 F4R’s and timed them up using aftermarket tools. All made good power on the dyno and all still running.

Thanks thats good to know and atleast gives me a little more confidemce if i cant find any
