Dci 100 cup pack

I wanna lower my dci so that it looks and handles like a cup 172.
How do i do that? Can i just fit 172 springs to my standard dampers or would none of it fit anyway?

Also would lightening my dci (like they lightened the cup over the standard 172) make it any quicker? I had teh back weighed down with my spare set of wheels the other day and it actually seemed quicker! weird

Its currently got a tuning box running 115bhp but going in for a remap on wednesday to eek out those extra horses

Any pearls of wisdom? lol

It won't ever handle like a 172 cup, as it's not one, 172 springs won't fit, you looked on the k-tec website? And yes any lightening will make it faster for obvious reasons.

So whats the difference? It must be based on the same car essentially just presumably uprated? I'm new to this stuff so need advice really on a good set up :)
 
cup springs should fit but the cup dampers wont, altho im not to sure what set up the dci uses its different to the 1.4s

will just changing the springs improve the performance drastically? or will i need to do the dampers with coilovers instead?

Yep 172 Cup ins't the perfect setup so why bother trying to chnase it some money spend on Fk's or if you want to spend more H and R/ Ledas are the way to go.

I'd personally stick with stock or go to H and R/Ledas stocks not half bad.

Yep but will weart he dampers quicker and itsn't an idea ride.#
Spend the money on coilovers.
