Where abouts is the wire? If its a stereo cable, could be an attenuation wire, or if its near an alarm, it could be the negative-pulse wire which is used to start other equipment when the alarm is activated.

It Doesn't have central locking.

Mk1 Ph1 should have locking controlled from the plip, thats the control box.

Does it have SEMPAL stamped on the side ???

The fact its not working might be because that stray wire is not connected.

That stray wire is for the front dash Tweakers
and no it don't have 'SEMPAL' on the side.

Ive got a phase 3 and its got the same relay box. I have central locking from the blip key.
