whats the best oil for a ph-quick?



  BMW M4; S1000 RR
I have been using Mobil on this diesel, makes it less rattly on startup which must count for something.

(Should point out I used Castrol when I first got it, it's also had a Renault service in which I think they use warm butter to lubricate the engine, and another service nearby by someone who gets sponsored by some 2nd rate producer)
 
5W40 fully syn "insert any make here"

If the cars gets serviced at a proper specialist (ie Mark Fish etc) then do they always use this oil?

yeah i think you'll find all of the specialists use 5w40 fully syn, we use Elf excelium 5W40 (as per renaults recomendation) on all Renault sport vehicles

I use Car Lube Tripple R fully synth,
A) I love the name!
B) Its only £25 for 5ltrs in macro ;)
 
speak to oilman from opieoils, he does some good deals. I always used silkolene in any car I have

Silkolene pro is the only oil that keeps my engine quite, all other oils i have used make it sound like a bag of nails
