Throttle Pedal

  Civic Type R EK9
Is it just mine or you floor it then you think foot is flat down but then push slightly harder and it kind of clicks and goes abit more??

Is this normal? If so whats it about?

yes its normal ......cant remember what it was called though .

ask donnyo , he tell you all about it .

I think the plastic bung thing under the pedal is meant to stop it doing this.

You wont go any faster/ beat m3's by pressing it that extra bit to the floor though.

It's to override the cruise control:
Touch brakes: CC goes off
Stamp on Throttle: CC goes off

He means that all throttle pedals will have it, even if they don't have CC connected. Mainly so they don't have to manufacture 2 types of throttle pedal hence saves money ;)

Erm I dunno, was just trying to explain what he said!

I know that cars with a speed limiter tend to have a clicky button to override the limiter though (as merely pressing the throttle will only accelerate until and not surpass the speed set on the limiter).

will it increase acceleration? or just a cut of switch for the cc? just so anno wether its worth my while sinking the shoe more:p

Mine kept getting stuck on my car mat (and so jamming the throttle open, was scary the first time it happened) so I put the mat over it :p
