AutoCad help!! Pleeease!!

  VaVa
Doing a simple drawing using AutoCad2007 LT. hopefully will be a piece of piss for those of you that use it alot.

drawing has mixed unit dimensions - Most are fractional imperial but there is on dimension which needs to be in engineering imperial (0.998"). I can get the dimension on the drawing Ok but I can't alter the format of the text. It's displaying it as 0"-0.990" and I can't seem to drop the extra '0"' at the start.

Also is there anywhere in the dimensions tools that allows you dimension part of the drawing and then add a tolerance alongside it?

Cheers for any help.

You'll have to set up two different Dimensions styles using "Dimension Style Manager". Units can be set in the options.

There is an Icon on the Standard Dimension Tool bar for tolerance's. Click it. Add in your tolerances and its units and place next to a dimension.

Sorted. Didn't have the Zero Supression tac checked in the dimension style. so it was showing feet and inches not just inches.

So bloody frustrating. lol.

Cheers pal.
