URGENT: reset limp mode

Hi folks, bit of a prob, my wee sisters boyfriend is about 45miles away and his 1.2 16v clio has just gone into limp mode. How do you go about reseting it?

I had a clio 4 or so years ago and remember having this problem, there was some sort of trick like holding in a button when ignition was on. Could anyone please confirm this for me asap? Thanks

Nope thats no fix. Thats just a test of the lights on the car dashbaord.

Just turn the car on and off sometimes knocks them out of limp home mode.

Disconnect the battery for about 30 mins... that used to work in my smart- hopefully it should work with the clio. We used to have to spark the live terminal to 'shock' our ECU's into releasing.
