Sequencing software for Music - Mac.

I'm looking for any decent sound sequencer to start creating music on my mac, any recommendations????

I used to use ProTrakker and NoiseTrakker type 4 channel sequencers on the Amiga and St years ago, basicly I want an advanced version of this sort of software. I've heard of Jeskola Buzz which some wicked stuff can be created on but it seems thats PC only :(

I want to use synths mainly and more importantly be able to create my own synths and manipulate my own samples to come up with unique sounds.
It'd be good if i were able to plug in a keyboard or my guitar as well as being able download / use other peoples synths and samples so feel free to mention decent interfaces, websites etc.
A quality shareware program which can be downloaded for free would be a bonus but I'd still be interested in buying software.

So, if anyone on here creates music let me know what you use :star:

dont understand what you mean, but garage band is good, a friend of mine makes a mint using that to make background music for tv/promotional adverts and radio stations

Hmmm interesting, I'll have to look into that, cheers. I saw it a while back and figured it was going to be a bit basic and cheesy but if your mate is making money off the back of it then it (or he :) ) must be pretty good.

  meriva vxr! really ;-)
