Had an awful accident today..

Car  182 Cup
On my way from from Sainsburys after stocking up on ale for my festival trip this weekend, was ragging off a roundabout and something on the front seat fell onto one of the tins of ale which promptly bust sending foam everywhere. The car stinks now!

And the poor ale, another one cut down in it's prime :(

I lost a can of Fosters in a similar way last week. It was a sad day.

Why didnt you just say it was a tent so we didnt have to chase you round the houses. Getting detail out of people on here is like getting blood out of a stone sometimes. rant over.... sorry about your beer :-p

Probably because the fact that it was a tent has no relevance to the story.

LOL

I've burst cans of beer stored in the passenger foot well twice now :o They seem to knock into each other too hard on roundabouts. Learnt my lesson now - keep em in the doors where they can't roll around ;)

lol lol.

I had a similar experience with a 2 litre bottle of cola in my Fiesta ST. Rolled off the backed seat and hit the seat frame and then sprayed half of the contents over the white headlining, seats (leather luckily), windows, me and loads of other places.
Went straight home and spent 40 mins cleaning it and it was fine.
You can get some foam stuff you spray on carpets (in a little can, think it was 1001 branded) and that got rid of the smell. Just used warm water to wipe the seats and headlining, came up a treat.

I can happily report that as I have dark mats there was no stanin and when I was away all weekend I left a few magic trees in the car. The beer smell is gone but Jesus, magic trees are rank!

On a sidenote, I recall an incident in work where one of the large offices had a foul smell in it, we got these cowboy builders in to look at it and all they did was put hundreds of magic trees behind the walls!
