Vibra technics uprated mounts (part 2)

As a follow up to the thread below -

They are interested in doing a set.

They need a set of standard mounts as a starting point. Apparently second hand will do. Has anyone got a set of old ones?

He wants to know the weight of the engine. Does anyone have a rough idea?

The most expensive mount they sell is £170 down to £40 (per mount) so this gives a rough idea on price.

The bad part is they need a minimum order of 25. Not sure how helpful KTEC can be with this?

Also has anyone got any pictures of the mounts installed?

I think everyone is aware of how poor the standard mounts are on the 172/182.

I was going to get a set of Group N mounts see below but for £760 I decided it was a bit to much for a set of engine mounts.

I am going to get in contact with this companies which is only 30 miles from me see if they are interested in developeing a set for the RS Clios.

From the picture above ktec already do the dogbone mount (no.4) so it will be for no.s 1-3

no 1 is the top mount
no 2 is the ?? mount (whats this one called?)
no 3 is the gearbox mount

Who would be seriously interested in a set if I could get them done? They wont be cheap. I would expect they will be around £300 for a set.

All details to be confirmed but it would be nice if we could get five people to buy a set to cover the intial production costs.

they can have a complete car, mounts, whatever from us

engine is approx 95kg + box is 38kg (i think, will double check)

the top gearbox mount from gsf is only £15 if your struggling to get one

I ordered engine mounts 1, 3 and 4 from Euro Car Parts and they were all the wrong ones! Have sent them back. Their data for the car must be wrong.

First thing I need is top and gearbox mounts to send them. Has anyone got an old set?
