Quick pic @ Kirkistown race track

Went to a local track day yesterday at Kirkistown race track.
Only got 3 sessions and then the inevitable happened

How I went home...

well doesnt look like you stacked it...so something to do with renault reliability?

Power steering pipe split (where it bolts the the gearbox) resulting in fluid pishing all under the car and onto my rear tyres, spinning me off the track.
Also a major gearbox bolt fell out when I lifted off the lower engine cover for a look and the main power wire to the alternator was broken off.
I just got the car back on thursday night from Charles Hurst Renault from having a brand new gearbox replaced under warranty so you can guess who im blaming for pretty much everything.

lol.. that guy really knew his car, he wasnt afraid to throw it round the track one bit!
Was more fun hunting down this though..... for about 3 seconds
I learned Exige-S's are bloooody rapid!

^Why? Renaultsport hold their own and encourage trackdays. I remember this arguement came up before and the bloke had no problems when he told them.

To be honest I prob wont tell them anyway, just incase they try and wangle out of it.
As said at least its all covered so I shouldn't need to worry too much, just being without the car another week or so and the thought of them making more c**k ups makes me mad
