CV joint boot

How easy is it to fit a new CV joint boot? its the offside outer. do nyou need a special tool to open the rubber so that it can be put on? any information would be great

think you need a special tool to do the clip up.. not sure, both mine need doing they forgot to do em when it was at yoz

just had mine dun at reno specilist for 17£ need a spech tool as said above,, cant use tiewraps like on the old cars lol :)

do you know the name of that place that did it for £17 i got a qoute today of £60!! how did you get it so cheap?

yea it was mendal motors reno specelists, its in stockton on tees if your any where close gime a pm ill get you a postcode

need the special tool to get the grips on properly, there not standard lol i used to always use lubilee clips and tie wraps :) but not on thease cars grrr lol
