Hi, I hoping to find someone friendly who can do a basic HPI check to see if my car is a cat d or c? I didnt think cat d's had to be checked over by the DVLA but according to my V5 it has been or is that normal for cat d's?
If youve got something on the v5 saying its been recorded as damaged then its a cat C m8, cat D's dont have their v5's marked but will show on a hpi check.
Well I didnt know that a cat d wouldnt be shown on the log book hense me just asking, but the previous 2 owners didnt know either, or did and lied. Much like "I didnt notice the wheel bearings making a noise" as I ring him with the loudest whining ever in my ears
Nope, swapped it for my valver. Was told it was a cat d so assumed he was telling the truth. Where both worth there abouts the same. The 172 was in a state though, im nursing it back to health.
