Any tips for fitting lowering springs?

Has anyone got any tips when fitting lowering springs on a mk1 1.2 clio oasis

Tips?

Use spring compressors or you may die. (Seriously)

Soak the bolts you're going to be undoing in wd40 the night before.

Make sure you have all the tools you will need before you start, otherwise you'll be stuck as you will have half of your car apart.

got spring clamps, ill go give them a soaking now

already lowered the torision bar, took me about 3 hours to do! not bad seems as i never done one before that!

Doing the front is easy compared to the torsion bar really so I imagine you'll be ok.

undo the top nut while the cars on the floor otherwise the shock will just spin and spin, then you'll need a allen key and a 21mm? swan neck spanner

Yep, 21mm and 6mm allen key iirc

You may find it easier to pop to a tyre place and get them to use the impact gun to undo the top nuts and then just do them up hand tight.

It all lowered now! wasnt that hard really!
